The Thermo Scientific™ VitroEase™ Cryo-EM Training Kit provides a complete solution that includes detailed instructions for the successful preparation of grids for cryo-electron microscopy single particle analysis.
Silver flakes in an inorganic silicate aqueous solution, specially formulated adhesive for demanding bonding applications.
These carbon tapes are conductive and may be used conveniently for scanning electron microscopy or EDS applications. This is the same material as the PELCO Tabs™, Carbon Conductive Tabs, but in tape form. The tape form allows for special application uses such as custom sizes, cut-outs and shapes. The purity of this tape is identical to the PELCO Tabs™; only very small impurities of Al and Si may be found. Both sides of the tape have a thick conductive adhesive (conductive inner film is 35µm and the adhesive is 45µm on each side for a total of 125µm [5 mils]) with a white liner. The double adhesive and conductive design permits quick mounting of samples without using liquid or colloidal adhesives.
Pure carbon support films with no Formvar backing. This new product has an even thinner carbon film which is mounted on a Lacey carbon film. The carbon support layer lying over the holes is less than 3nm in thickness and is the thinnest support film available. It is particularly useful for high resolution microscopy of low contrast particles and is also ideal for use with the Energy Filtering TEM.
Widely used compact grid box for 50 standard 3.05mm TEM grids with smoothly sliding clear plastic cover is matched to a tough, clean, self-lubricating base. The diamond-shaped grid compartments are designed to minimize awkward wrist or hand movements. The depth of the holes restricts grid movement when transported. The materials selected for the PELCO Grid Box are static dissipative to avoid static charges on the grids. Dimensions: 77.5 x 41 x 9mm.

The double adhesive and conductive design permits quick mounting of samples without using liquid or colloidal adhesives. The tape is relatively solid and non-porous and does not absorb small samples. The variety of widths affords efficient application to various specimen mount surface sizes. Thickness is 0.16mm. Available in six widths. Can be used down to -20°C (-4°F) and temperature maximum is 60°C (140°F). Available in 5, 8, 12, 20, 25, and 50mm W x 20m L (0.19, 0.31, 0.47, 0.79, 0.98, and 1.96" x 21.8 yd). Core diameter is 76mm (3"). SEM mounts not included.
Dbl sided manipulator platform for Nikon Ti Inverted scope
Very strong and rugged clear polycarbonate box to store standard pin mounts with 3.2mm (1/8"). This box is watertight, crushproof and dustproof. The strong hinges, locking clasps and soft silicone O-ring seal makes this an ideal transport, shipping and storage box for SEM samples on pin mounts. The holder insert is numbered 1-18 and accommodates all types of pin mounts form 6.4 to 50mm diameter.

Quantifoil R 1.2/1.3 300 Mesh, Gold (100/pk)
A formvar coated grid, stabilized with evaporated carbon film. This type of coating is excellent for specimen support, especially for ultra thin sections. Coated grids are optically checked followed by batch testing in the electron microscope. Packed in grid storage box. NOTE: All film is laid on the shiny side of the grid. Formvar is 15 to 20 nm thick with a 3 to 4 nm carbon coating.

These Micromesh biopsy cassettes are compatible with Leica and Sakura printers, With 1676 square openings (0.38 mm) there is greatly improved fluid exchange without having to use biopsy pads. Large anterior and posterior slots in cassette and cover ensure the biopsy cassette will sink rapidly. A large square compartment with a side measuring 27 mm is perfect, even for needle biopsies. Molded from a special high density polymer, these patented cassettes keep specimens submerged and are resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. The Micromesh mesh ensures efficient fluid exchange and drainage. The one-piece integral lid eliminates the need for separate steel lids. They can be opened and closed as often as necessary and relock securely without danger of specimen loss. The cover does not protrude above the cassette. Anterior writing area is at a 45 degree angle to make the cassette more suitable for automated cassette printers.Color: Blue

The continuous ultrathin carbon film on lacey carbon allows for the thinnest support film that still has adequate strength to withstand electron microscope specimen preparation. The less than 3nm thick film lies across a carbon lacey film supported by a mesh grid. The size of the holes in the lacey film differ widely from batch to batch but are generally in the range of ¼ µm to 5µm, which gives the equivalent support of at least 6000 mesh grid.
Specimen material lying over the covered holes can be imaged in the TEM with practically no interference from the carbon film supporting it. This product is ideal for looking at nanotubes, virus particles and other small particulate material.
