Description
- Consists of ten members, nine positive and one negative for HCV RNA, manufactured from human plasma
- With plasma samples representing nine distinct HCV genotypes from diverse world origins
- Nine positive members were formulated by diluting HCV RNA positive plasma samples from nine different HCV genotypes into HCV RNA negative pools
- One negative member was formulated from an HCV RNA negative pool
- Sodium Azide (0.09%) added as preservative
- Also used as part of ongoing programs of lot acceptance and internal proficiency testing for these assays, to isolate system errors and in troubleshooting, as component of quality assurance programs
- 1 vial per member, 1.2mL per vial
