ß-1,3-Glucans can produce false positive results in LAL assays. Some examples of glucan sources include yeast and cellulosic materials including hemodialysis filters. Our ß-G-Blocker may be used with any of our LAL assays. Note: PYROGENT Gel Clot LAL products typically do not require ß-G-Blocker.UPDATE (July 2018): Historically this product has been filled in a 5cc screw neck vial and sealed with a black screw cap. A change is being made to update the vial configuration to a 5cc vial which is stoppered and crimped, similar to Lonza's other endotoxin detection products. This change will enable us to automate the filling process, which will increase product quality and throughput. The implementation date for this change is July 2018.Content:5 mL/vial
